Linda Merker has home educated her six children since 1989, and has five children that have graduated from Advent Christian High School (the Merker homeschool).  Linda  started as summer help during our busiest time of year in 2001. What started as a temporary position has turned to a permanent one, and for a while, she managed all of our online business.  Since September of 2007, Linda has been working closer to home,  but she still works an occasional day at the shop and does the bookkeeping and website.

Linda currently  holds the Communications Trustee Board position for REACH East Homeschool Support Group in Bellevue, WA

Linda  is available to speak to your Homeschool Support group, or at Homeschool or Church events.  These presentations are approximately one hour, with power point slides, but may be modified to fit your time frame.

Parenting in the Light of God's Word gives practical tips and resources for shaping your child's character.  Learn how to partner effectively with the Holy Spirit in conforming your child's behavior.

Teaching Creation in An Evolutionary World gives ideas for shaping a Biblical worldview that sees God as creator, when the world tries to tell us otherwise.  Learn how to have your child know evolution and creation, and know how to support their beliefs.

Charlotte Mason - The Gentle Art of Learning gives an overview to the Charlotte Mason Method of teaching your children.

Living the Learning Lifestyle explains how to integrate your "school" into your home.  This is especially valuable if you have a large family.
